HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our LoveBento followers and thank you for all your love and support in 2009. We've officially named 2010 the year of love! And it's big love, with heaps of exciting additions coming to our website, plus exclusive goodies for subscribers from Melbourne's hottest young designers. We think there's no better way to start feeling the love than with this Melbourne made and designed Love Cushion, from Revision Design Australia.

It's 2010 and summer's in full swing, which means late hot nights out on the town. The perfect medicine the morning after? Breakfast at Gluttony of course. Gluttony dishes up the biggest breakfast in town and at incredibly reasonable prices - with great vegie options too. A well-loved hangover cure amongst Collingwood locals.

This urban bakery glues together the Brunswick St community with its gorgeous coffee, breakfast, lunch and amazing baked goodies. A rotating lunch menu means it never gets old, but get in early to ensure you get a seat. We especially love their almond croissants. Super yum.

Georgie Love is one of our favourite online shops selling handmade items from independent and emerging Australian artists. Here you'll find gorgeous things that you won't find in stores. And they love all things produced ethically and locally - especially Melbourne. Look out for the latest from LoveBento featured artist Madz has Runaway.

We love this super cute Melbourne Etsy store! With the perfect gifts for Christmas, Paper and Ribbons has handmade Christmas cards adorned with beautiful grossgrain ribbons. And if you're looking for a gift that will really stand out, the lockets are a must. We especially love the Key to your Heart and Cutesie lockets.

The perfect eco-friendly Xmas gift. These stylish bags do the same job as a plastic grocery bag without harming the environment. And the best bit - they've got style, so you'll actually want to be seen carrying one around Melbourne. Using one Baggu for 1 year replaces 300 to 700 disposable bags. Perfect stocking stuffers.

Melbournites love the Threadless online store. Right now there's hundreds of Threadless t-shirts making their way to Melbourne for Xmas. So we're really excited that Threadless has teamed up with Griffin to create iPhone covers. It's original Threadless art on an iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G cover. Love.

It all happens on Dec 11. Fans of talented Melbourne fashion designer Alexi Feeman, be sure to visit Melbourne GPO where his very own shop will pop up. The Alexi Freeman Pop Up Shop will showcase pieces from his current collection as well as previous seasons. Plus must-see collaborative installation work from Alexi and Aaron Roberts of Room11 Architects. Our Xmas wishlist just grew.

It's a LoveBento Fan Favourite: Out of all the Pop Up Stores in Melbourne right now Melbournites love the <Insert Name Here> Pop Up Store at Georges on Collins. It has been super popular ever since it popped up in November and features the most loved Eva Q, T-Shirt Garage & Joolz. But hurry - this gorgeous shop will be open for only three more weeks!

Melbournites love local Trimapee designs and now Santa has come early with the Trimapee Spanish Fiesta Sale in Fitzroy. Their claim to style - Like the joker from a deck of cards, Trimäpee does not conform to any suite. And now you can get your hands on Trimapee for Xmas.

Right up stairs at the GPO, just between Belinda and Akira, a new pop-up store has arrived. It's called Limedrop and it will only be open until January 2010. Their Spring Summer collection is a must see. And tonight at the opening you can be one of the first to check it out and enjoy a few drinks at the same time. See you there!

Looking for a lazy Sunday morning venue to relax with breakfast and coffee? There are few as good as the Amsterdam Street cafe. Gorgious fresh food and crisp coffee is just the start - it's the retro fitout of the place and the creative front that brings it all home. Breaky or lunch, get yourself along!

A great place for a drink after enjoying some of the delicious food in China Town is Manchuria. Sporting a contemporary chinese decore, this largely undiscovered bar is all about killer cocktails - and there are plenty of them to choose from. Martinis are great but if you're after something stronger try the Zombie. You can't go past this first level beauty.
