  • Love visiting - Blindside Gallery

    VOTE

We love the Nicholas Building. With it's old-school lifts and corridors of art studios it is easy to lose a Saturday afternoon wandering the halls. However, the must-see of the building is Blindside gallery. Hidden on the seventh floor this artist run space is right on the cutting edge of the Melbourne art scene. This weekend venture up the lift in your best artsy black to discover the work of Sophie Knezic amd Simone Hine.

  • Love eating - Little Cupcakes

It's official. Melbourne had joined the international cupcake craze. And why not? Little Cupcakes offers the most amazing, melt-in-your-mouth cakes that look so perfect you almost don't want to eat them. We are obsessed with the red velvet cupcake...super light cocoa butter cake with a generous smothering of vanilla cheese cream. Worth every cent.

  • Love a few drinks at - Der Raum

Tucked away just out of reach of the mainstream crowds, this boutique Richmond bar is cocktail heaven. Fueled by good tunes, dim lights and spirit bottles suspended from the ceiling with straps, it's no wonder the place was voted 3rd best bar in the world earlier this year.  With fresh hand-pressed juice and top notch spirits and liqueurs, each concoction is a must try. Love.

  • Love eating out at - Two Fingers

There are only so many times you can eat sushi and focaccias for lunch, but, luckily for us LoveBento-ites, there's Two Fingers. Tucked behind the Forum, on Russell St, Two Fingers has the most delicatable lunches. Fans can't choose between the to-die-for green curry roti, cannelloni or the soup of the day. We promise that after only one visit you'll be a regular. Yummy.
